The first quarter of 2021 has been intriguing for crime-themed games on the iOS platform in Europe. Sensor Tower's latest insights provide a snapshot of how these games have fared during this period.

Phantix Games' Mafia City: War of Underworld saw a steady revenue stream, starting at around $372K in the last week of December and peaking at approximately $393K in the first week of January. Downloads for the game showed a spike in late January with about 33K, while weekly active users saw a high of 166K in the same month.

June’s Journey: Hidden Objects, from German publisher wooga, experienced a revenue increase, peaking at nearly $286K in early March. Downloads reached their highest at approximately 27K at the end of March, and active users saw a peak of 374K in mid-February.

Ireland-based Playrix' Manor Matters showed significant growth in revenue throughout the quarter, starting at $133K and reaching a high of nearly $250K in early March. The game's downloads were most impressive in early February with over 208K, while active users peaked at 748K in mid-February.

The Grand Mafia, another title from Phantix Games, had a notable increase in revenue from $42K at the end of December to $178K in the last week of March. The game's downloads surged to nearly 79K in late January, and weekly active users reached a high of 100K in late March.

Lastly, DianDian Interactive Holding's Idle Mafia had a modest revenue trend, with its highest at around $39K in late February. The game’s downloads and active users remained fairly stable, with a slight increase in downloads to 3.6K at the end of March and active users around 35K throughout the quarter.
